We now refer to the cluster of neighborhoods that were bulldozed during the 1950’s as Chavez Ravine. However some of the scattered remains of the old barrios, Palo Verde La Loma, Bishop, are still present in both memory and in stone and concrete. From the series, Ruins, near Chavez Ravine, 2018.
